Garbage, What is it? Where does it
come from? How did we get so much of it? These questions we ask ourselves
everyday. Us humans throw away every little thing that is no use to us anymore.
Whether its a soda bottle to a Apple Mac computer. We dont think about passing
it down to people that need it more than us. For example, if you have a
computer that you dont use since you got a new Mac computer. Most people rather
let it sit there and rot till its ready to be thrown away than just pass it
down to a smaller brother, cousin, friend, etc. that is going into college or
needs it for a job. Another example is with food. How many restaurants or even
people in general throw away leftover food that is no use to them anymore.
Million of people are sleeping outside food shelters so they can have just one
plate of food for the day or starving because they cant afford anything to eat. One thing we all have to think about is how would you feel if you
were in there postion, knowing that you could of had some of that food that
someone just threw away.
Reading Garbology, has just kept me thinking of what is going to happen when we don't have anywhere to put it. Where are we going to put our trash? Is it just going to collapse on all of us or will
we find a solution soon?
